The world of metal and hard rock has lost a major player today. One of the smallest men with the largest voices in metal, Ronnie James Dio, passed away this moring. Dio blazed trails with hell fire. He lended his distinct vocals such bands as Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell and, of course, Dio. He also gave birth to the hand symbol known 'round the world, the sign of the beast.
Ronnie James Dio, you will be missed. Rest in peace.
