About 6 months back, at a loud bar in Kihei, I had the pleasure of meeting a woman named Favianna Rodriguez thru my friend Ian Kual'i. Months later, thanks to the magic wonder that is facebook's "suggested friends", I was able to reconnect with her. It was at that moment that I learned Favianna was an amazing artist and activist.
